A team of six engineers has arrived from Turkey to service the diesel generators at the Teknecik Power plant.
This part of a contracted regular maintenance programme.
All the team members will be required to remain in quarantine for 14 days as per the regulations to guard against the spread of Covid-19.
The team has been made exempt from the decision to extend the ban on travel into North Cyprus except for those providing essential services.
