A small private plane crash landed on the runway at Larnaca airport this afternoon, causing all flights and landings to be suspended. Arriving flights were obliged to circle the airport waiting for clearance to land by Larnaca Flight Control Centre.
The crash left debris across the runway, however the pilot and passenger were unhurt.
Flights returned to normal a short while after the incident when the runway was cleared of debris.
