As part of its 23 April National Sovereignty & Children’s Day celebrations, SOS Children’s Village hosted a “Happy Children’s Fair” on Friday April 29, 2016.
Taking place at the SOS Children’s Village in Nicosia, the programme included performances by the little pupils of the SOS Crèche & Preschool, a dance show by Golden Step, children’s games and activities.
There were a variety of stands offering food, deserts, pastries, refreshments and toys.
In addition an ‘Open Day’ tour of SOS Children’s Village took place, which included the Prevention of Child Abandonment & Family Strengthening Project, and the SOS Crèche & Preschool to find out about the organisation’s work and future projects, which continue thanks to the support of donors.
Proceeds from the event will go to the educational requirements of SOS Crèche & Preschool, which provides essential education and care to children from SOS Children’s Village, Prevention of Child Abandonment and Family Strengthening Project, and all children from the wider community.
