The issue of purchasing fuel from North Cyprus was discussed by the Greek Cypriot Council of Ministers at a meeting on Wednesday.

The newspaper said that the decision the outcome of the meeting was one that had been anticipated and that the decision to continue the measures taken to prevent Greek Cypriots from purchasing fuel in the TRNC was confirmed. However, it was emphasised that people who had been to the TRNC for personal reasons should be inconvenienced at the checkpoints as little as possible.
