Following increasing levels of Covid-19 infections in South Cyprus, The ministry of health has ordered a ban on households mixing until 10 January.
The only exception will be New Year’s Eve when up to 10 people from two households can mix.
The ban comes into effect today.
The most recent reports say that 471 people were infected with the coronavirus and one person died.
