South boosts border security after ISIS threats

Threats from the terror organisation ISIS regarding its plans unleash terrorist activities in western countries, have prompted South Cyprus to take precautions at some embassies and all borders and gates, ‘Kibris Postasi’ reports.

‘Fileleftheros’ has written that Greek Cypriot security forces have taken precautions at the USA, France, Israeli embassies and at the British High Commission.

The newspaper also wrote that security levels have been increased at all ports and airports in South Cyprus, as well as the border gates out of fear that ISIS will “pass into south Cyprus from north Cyprus.
