Ioannis Kasulidis speaking at a conference said that Turkey was looking to open two chapters as part of its EU negotiations. These were the chapters on ‘Fundamental Rights’ and ‘Justice’.
However, Mr Kasulidis said that unless Turkey complied with UN Security Council resolution 550 and opened up Maras (Varosha), then these two chapters could not be started.
