Founder of Easy Jet, Stelios Haji-Ioannou, will be making his annual awards to entrepreneurs tomorrow.
In 2009, the businessman set up a Trust that makes awards to entrepreneurs within Cyprus.
Over the past four years, he has distributed 50,000 euros to 20 entrepreneurs. This amount of one million euros was distributed to Greek and Turkish entrepreneurs as seed money to help their business ventures grow.
This year, Stelios has changed the format of his annual distributions. He has asked for joint partners, including people from both North and South Cyprus, to make applications. That way, he hopes to foster communal relationships.
Ten joint partners will each receive 10,000 euros to further their business developments.
The winning teams have been determined and the awards will be made at a ceremony tomorrow afternoon.
