UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has called on both sides in Cyprus to stop the “blame game” and the negative rhetoric about each other, ‘Famagusta Gazette’ reports.
Speaking in New York, Ban Ki-moon called on all parties to help create a “conducive environment” in order to resume the negotiations.
According to a CNA report, the United Nations should make clear and present the true picture with regard to the current deadlock in the Cyprus peace talks, unnamed South Cyprus government sources said.
