A survey was conducted by Gezici research firm regarding the effectiveness of the Turkish Cypriot political parties and the government.
According to the most important results of the survey, if elections were held today, the People’s Party (HP) led by Kudret Ozersay would gain the most votes with 30.8%. Meanwhile, 60% of the people think that the government has not been effective.
Trust in President Mustafa Akinci is at 40.5%. In addition, 33.11% of those polled consider the Cyprus problem to be the most important problem faced by the TRNC.
