Infrastructure work on both Derinya and Aplic border crossings should be completed in two months, the Ministry of Public Works and Transport has announced.
In a written statement, the ministry said that since the two new border checkpoints opened on 12 November, a large number of people have used the crossing points. The fact that work on the two crossing was incomplete, had attracted attention.
“The tender procedure regarding the permanent infrastructure at the aforementioned crossings has been completed, the construction works at both crossings have started and it is estimated that the works at both crossings points will be completed in approximately two months”, the statement read.
