Territory is biggest challenge in Cyprob talks: Eroğlu

Turkish Cypriot President Derviş Eroğlu has said that the most challenging chapter on the negotiation table is land, ‘Kibris Postasi’ reports.

“Since there cannot be an existing state without land, of course we are going to make a claim for land, but for this to happen firstly, our citizens have to claim their own land, so that our decisions can be stronger at the negotiation table,” he said.

President Eroğlu was speaking during the meeting he had with the Tatlisu (Akatu) Mayor Hayri Orcan and visitors who arrived in North Cyprus to attend the 9th International Tatlisu Carob festival.
