A thief using a small digger tried to dislodge a cash machine in the forecourt of a petrol station near Larnaca last night.
Police have seen the CCTV footage which shows an individual attempting to forcibly remove the ATM from the petrol station forecourt at around 3 am.
The actions of the thief triggered an alarm causing him to leave behind a scene of extensive damage.
Police say that they will be able to find the owner of the digger and identify the thief.
