Three individuals have been arrested in connection with the seizure of 13 kilograms of drugs at Ercan Airport on Sunday morning, Yeniduzen reports.
According to the ongoing investigation led by the Narcotics and Smuggling Prevention Directorate, the suspects sought and arrested in connection with the 13-kilogram drug haul are identified as Z.B. (30) and O.S. (54). M.B., who was found with drugs in his suitcase, has also been arrested.
Furthermore, according to information provided by the Police Press Office, during a luggage inspection conducted by the police, residue of a cannabis-type drug was found in a herb grinder belonging to K.S.Ç. (21), who was about to depart from Ercan Airport yesterday evening.
The individual in question was arrested after the discovery was made.
