Three-Car Accident in Kyrenia

According to information provided by the police press office, a collision involving three vehicles occurred in Kyrenia, Kibris Postasi reports.

Uğur Kaya, the driver of one vehicle, and his passenger Canan Atıcı were injured. Bikem Şara Dağgül, who was found to be intoxicated, was subsequently arrested.

Reportedly, today, around 01:00, on Karaoğlanoğlu Avenue in Kyrenia, a vehicle driven by Ayhan Seyhan collided with the stationary vehicle driven by Uğur Kaya, due to negligence.

This collision caused Uğur Kaya’s vehicle to hit another vehicle driven by Zeynel Kartal, veering off course.

Subsequently, Zeynel Kartal’s vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by Bikem Şara Dağgül, who was waiting to turn right and was found to have an alcohol level of 119 mg.

Uğur Kaya, the driver, and Canan Atıcı, the passenger in the vehicle hit initially, were treated at Dr. Akçiçek Hospital in Kyrenia and subsequently discharged.

Bikem Şara Dağgül, the driver of the vehicle hit last, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
