Three Traffic Accidents Cause Injuries

Three separate traffic accidents occurred yesterday, leaving three individuals injured. In Kyrenia, 53-year-old pedestrian Fatıma Taghiyeva was seriously injured when an 80-year-old driver struck her while she was crossing Karaoğlanoğlu Street. She was transferred to Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Nicosia, where she remains under observation with rib fractures, Yeniduzen reported.

On the Nicosia-Güzelyurt road, 33-year-old Hülya Çakır, driving under the influence of alcohol, lost control of her vehicle, crashed, and overturned. She was also taken to Nicosia State Hospital for treatment.

Another alcohol-related accident occurred on the Famagusta-Karpaz road, where 36-year-old Efkan İlhan lost control of his car and veered off the road near Kumyalı Primary School. He was hospitalised for injuries, and investigations into all incidents are ongoing.
