Torrential rain, which fell non-stop until noon today in Famagusta caused flooding in many areas. Motorists faced the tricky task of making their way through flooded roads.
During the day, local municipal teams, the fire brigade and the head of the civil defence organisation carried out inspections and ensured the clearing away of the water on the roads.
