The Council of Ministers has allocated £300,000 to the promotion of the TRNC in England in an attempt to increase the number of English tourists.
The council has also approved the opening of 6 new tourism offices. These will be in Baku (capital of Azerbaijan), Amsterdam, Stockholm, Brussels and Rome.
Istanbul will also be the focus of a major push, where advertisements for the TRNC will be running for the next 2 months.
