Police stopped traffic when a truck, loaded with cat and dog food and being towed, toppled onto the road as the tow truck started moving along the Kyrenia-Değirmenlik main road near Alevkayası Junction, Kibris Postasi reported.
According to the police statement, at around 4pm on Monday, Ezel Deveci, the tow truck driver, had loaded the broken-down truck belonging to Achylbay Rozybayev, which was parked at the roadside, and set off.
However, as the tow truck moved off, the loaded truck tipped sideways onto the road, disrupting traffic. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
