Yesterday there was a traffic accident near Gecitkoy. Irfan Tan was travelling to Kyrenia from Gecitkoy and due to careless driving hit a van travelling in front of him.
Because of the speed of the impact the van swerved off the road and fell into a river bed on its side.
Both drivers have been taken to hospital and Police are investigating.
