Over the last week there have been 59 road traffic accidents in North Cyprus resulting in two people being injured and a total of 280,000TL in damages recorded, ‘Kbris Postasi’ reports.
According to police logs, 485 drivers out of 4,500 during the period of 8-15 December were booked for a variety of traffic offences. This includes 137 people booked for speeding; other offences were talking on mobile telephones whilst driving and driving without licence.
