TRNC entrepreneur Merich Erulku is running a very successful ice cube water business. He extracts spring water near the village of Akcay in Guzelyurt and then packages this water and sells it to customers in Turkey and Europe as well as the Middle East.
The packs contain 12 sachets of water which can be frozen at home into ice cubes.
Mr Erulku is exporting the ice under his Buzlat brand. He started his business in 2007 and now exports 10 million packets of ice cube water annually.
