Finance Minister Ersin Tatar, will be in Istanbul attending the 7th annual congress on Combating Counterfeiting and Piracy.
Mr Tatar and various officials will be participating in the Congress tomorrow, April 24th.
The congress meets annually in various cities. Previous venues have been Brussels, Geneva and Paris. The Istanbul congress will last for two days and is organised by Interpol.
The aim of the congress is to increase public awareness of counterfeiting and piracy and ensure greater cooperation between countries.
In a press statement today, Tatar said that the TRNC was fighting counterfeiting and thanked Turkey for inviting the TRNC to this international congress.
