TRNC represented at Frankfurt Book Fair

The world’s largest book fair in Frankfurt, Germany, opened last week and the TRNC has its own publications stand organised by the Department of Culture of Northern Cyprus.

Dr Umit Inatci, (pictured centre) representative of the Turkish Cypriot authors Association, and Dr Ejdan Sadrazam (right) were at the stand. The book fair, which began on 9th October, ends today.

Dr Umit Inatci has been writing art criticism and essays in various journals. He published his own Art Magazine (insan-zaman-mekan) and has also worked in the field of documentary film. He has produced and directed TV and Radio programmes and was a writer and editor for various newspapers and magazines.

Currently he is working as the faculty member (Faculty of Communication & Media Studies) in the Department of Visual Arts and Visual Communication design, at the Eastern Mediterranean University, Famagusta-North Cyprus.

Dr Ejdan Sadrazam teaches at the Near East University and is author of, amongst other books, ‘Barıs devlet ve gelecek’ –‘State peace and the future’ and ‘Ikilikler’ – ‘Dualism’.
