The TRNC is ahead of countries trying to improve the standards of gender equality, however despite this, politically and economically, the country has not yet reached acceptable standards, Speaker of the House and Presidential candidate Sibel Siber has said.
Dr Siber was addressing an event on Sunday to mark International Women’s Day.
