An accident occurred on the Kyrenia-Nicosia main road today, Yeniduzen reports.
The driver of a truck carrying empty gas bottles was injured following an accident while heading towards Nicosia.
As he approached the Lavinium site, he lost concentration and his steering after which his vehicle veered off the road and ended up in the rainwater gulley.
The driver named Ahmet Demirbilek, aged 36, was taken to Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State hospital in Nicosia where he is currently undergoing treatment.
