General Director of Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TP) Besim Şişman, has said that seismic vessel ‘Barbaros Hayrettin Pasa’ will begin searching for evidence of hydrocarbons off the coast of Cyprus in the near future. He added that upon completion of explorations, the company may undertake drilling operations offshore.
Şişman noted: “However, because such investments are expensive, we are waiting for oil prices to be adjusted before we proceed with such an operation.”
