As soon as the new coalition government receives a vote of confidence by the assembly, Turkey will send 288 
million Turkish Lira to the TRNC’s coffers, newly appointed finance minister Olgun Amcaoglu has said.
“All the debts of the state which could not be paid until now in the private sector, in tourism, will be paid before Bayram”, he added.
Noting that Turkey’s stance “has instantly changed”, sending money right after the government receives a vote of confidence, was an answer to questions which had remained unanswered for a long time, the finance minister said.
