Details of the economic and financial cooperation agreement signed between Turkey and the TRNC have been published in the Official Gazette.
The Government Economic and Financial Cooperation Agreement, which was signed in Nicosia on July 20 between “the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus” was published the Official Gazette.
According to which, the TRNC undertook to achieve the objectives and reform actions set out in the 2019 Action Plan in a timely and complete manner and to prepare an economic programme proposal covering 2020 by the end of October 2019 at the latest.
In return, Turkey will give 750 million Turkish Lira in grant aid to TRNC including a commitment to provide technical assistance, through public officials, in areas required by the TRNC government.
