Turkish guarantees must continue in Cyprus until Turkey becomes a full member of the European Union, Serdar Denktas, leader of the Democratic Party (DP) has said.
Speaking on a television, he stated that the same applies to the withdrawal of the Turkish army from the island.
Denktas went on to say that the coalition government between the Republican Turkish Party (CTP) and the National Unity Party (UBP) will not survive for long. He accused the government of not preparing any new laws and failing to sign the economic protocol with Turkey.
