A 34-year-old Turkish Cypriot man was arrested at Larnaca airport on Monday for possession of 2.6 kilograms of cannabis found in his suitcase, police said, ‘Cyprus Mail’ reports.
The suspect, 34, had arrived from Frankfurt just before 1am. Reports said his behaviour drew the attention of drug squad officers, but no other details were given.
The man is said to be a permanent resident of the Turkish side of Nicosia.
