Turkish Cypriot flautist and composer Burak Beşir has won an Outstanding Achievement award at the Global Music Awards (GMA).
Beşir was honoured with the “Silver Outstanding Achievement” award in the categories of “Best Album” and “Best Instrumental Solo” for his flute-piano album “Passion”, at the GMA, which recognises the work of independent musicians.
Burak Beşir, who in 2014 performed at the 86th Academy Awards’ Oscar Concert, composes music for documentaries and advertisements.
