31 year old Leon Osman has been picked by Roy Hodgson, the English team manager to join the national squad. The midfielder should be playing in the friendly against Sweden on Wednesday 14 th November.
The talented footballer was born in Manchester to a Turkish Cypriot father and an English mother. He has been with Everton apart from a few spells of being loaned out to other clubs. At 31, Osman has earned rave reviews from his manager David Moyes and other professional footballers and is widely regarded as the best uncapped Englishman in the Premier League.
As well as England, his country of birth, Osman is eligible to play for Turkey or Cyprus.
