The value of the Turkish Lira fell by 16 percent today following the dismissal of the Chairman of the Central Bank of Turkey, Naci Ağbal.
BRT reports that on Monday, the lira began trading at 8.10 against the US dollar, 9.60 against the Euro and 11.20 against the British pound.
