The TRNC water supply project will generate a yearly net income of 80 million TL and bring employment to 7,525 persons, Turkish Forestry and Water Affairs Minister Veysel Eroglu has said.
Speaking to Turkish daily ‘Aksam’, Eroglu said that after the water is transferred from Turkey, it is purified at the treatment facilities in North Cyprus. It will then be used as potable water and for irrigation for Güzelyurt and the Mesaoria Plain.
