Sıtkı Akargöl (35) and Emre Arslan (35), who live in Yeşilyurt, sailed from Fisherman’s Harbour in Kumyalı to go fishing on a boat named ‘Yeşilim’, at around 3pm on Friday, 10 May and have not been seen since.
The police reported that a search is underway for the two missing men.
On Friday, 10 May, the Met Office predicted near gale force winds lasting until the evening.
On Monday, 13 May, Kibris Postasi reported that the two men have still not been found.
