Two people were injured, one critically injured, in an accident on the Pamuklu-Kumyalı main road yesterday morning, Yeniduzen reports.
Passenger Chandra Shill (29) was seriously injured when the vehicle she was riding in veered off the road and rolled over. She was taken to Famagusta State Hospital where she underwent surgery.
The vehicle driver, Rasim Gönül, who was heading towards Kumyalı, lost control of his vehicle due to negligence, received medical attention at Famagusta State Hospital and remains under observation.
