Two people tested positive for Covid-19 out of 1,335 tests performed yesterday, Health Minister Dr Ali Pilli said.
One person infected with the virus arrived in North Cyprus by ferry and the other person was a contact of a previously detected case and was in quarantine. The health minister said that 16 people had been discharged.
This brings the total number of cases of Covid-19 to 772.
