On the morning of April 22nd Zahra Askarpour, an Iranian national was at Ercan attempting to board a flight to London.
However, police determined that the passport she was using in the name of Leva Pavelakate was false and arrested her. When Ms Askarpour confessed that she had bought the passport for eight thousand dollars from a Gabriele Kaciusyte, this woman was also arrested.
Yesterday, both women were in court where the judge ordered that they be held for 3 days until police conclude their inquiries.
