The Turkish Lira has once again fallen to record lows against the dollar and the euro. Investors concerns are mounting over geopolitical tensions and an overheating economy.
At midday on 9 April, the lira fell to 4.07 against the US dollar. The Turkish currency also rose to 5 against the euro, which is another record low, around the same time before easing to 4.99. The lira also saw historic lows at 5.74 against the British pound.
