Every Daim Friends’ group launched a beach cleaning operation between Kocareis Holiday Resort and Venus Hotel in Famagusta Bay on Saturday.
Spokesman for Every Daim Dostlar Yusuf Şentuğ, wrote that that they were trying to create awareness about keeping the beaches trash-free. On Saturday, 41 bags of rubbish were collected.
Şentuğ reminded that there are 33 individual targets to qualify for Blue Flag status. It was their aim to achieve all of these, he said.
