North Cyprus went to the polls today to elect its President for the next five years. Voting began at 8am and will continue until 6pm. There are 198,867 people who are eligible to vote.
The Supreme Election Council ruled that as of 6pm on Saturday, no propaganda or election broadcasts could be made.
The results of the election will be made known at 10pm on Sunday.
