There will be mandatory cuts to water supplies across the whole of North Cyprus between April 24-26, Girne Municipality has announced.
Consumers are asked to use water sparingly and make preparations for cuts to their water supply.
The Department for Water Affairs has said that the cuts will be necessary in order to work on the ‘Güzelyurt and Mesaoria Plain Irrigation Transmission network’. This project will supply those regions with water piped in from Turkey.
