Police have discovered a large haul of illegal weapons on a ship bound for Mersin at Famagusta Port.
The weapons haul which included semi-automatics, automatic shotguns and hunting rifles were waiting for transfer to Turkey on a vessel named ‘Dipkarpaz’.
The weapons have been confiscated.
