Strong westerly winds will hit the coast of the TRNC at about 6pm. Expect gusts of up to 36mph in some areas, strong enough to cause minor property damage.
The winds will continue through most of the night until approx 8am and thunderstorms may be seen off the coast, however it is expected to remain dry. Tuesday will continue to see windy weather throughout the day with potential gusts reaching 21mph along with clear skies and highs of 28 Celsius.
