Minister of Interior and Labour Asim Akansoy has announced that the white ID card will be issued this week. The fee for the cards is a stonking 2,000TL.
Speaking to Bayrak television, Akansoy said that there are 28 thousand people with work permits living in the TRNC and 8 thousand of them are in a position to be able to apply for the white card.
Akansoy explained that they will grant the white card to people who have held a work permit for six consecutive years and have the right to go abroad every year for more than 40 days.
