The people of Dikmen have given the authorities one week to remove the wireless base stations from their villages. They have threatened to dismantle the masts and protests and street demonstrations were held yesterday.
It is claimed that the number of cancer cases has grown sharply since the erection of the base stations and the protesters want the masts relocated outside the villages.
