Work on the new Yedikonuk-Büyükkonuk coastal road project commenced today. The contract was signed at the Department of Road Works on Monday.
The road, which will cost 2.5 million Turkish Liras to build is expected to be completed in six months.
Minister of Public Works and Communications Kemal Dürüst said on Monday, that they had started work on the project as a result of the high demands coming from the Mayor of Büyükkonuk Ahmet Sennaroğlu as well as the villagers. The road will be 5km in length and 4 metres wide.
