An international conference on the “University of the Future: University Cities and Health Tourism” has been organised by the European Business Assembly (EBA) and will be hosted by the Near East University (YDU) in north Nicosia.
Taking part will be the Rectors of the Oxford Academic Union (OAU) and the Club of Rectors, from 25-26 March 2015.
The EBA granted Dr Suat Gunsel, founding Rector of YDU, the Socrates Award in 2013 and also named YDU as the University of the Future for 2015.
According to a press release by YDU, the opening speeches of the conference, will be delivered by President Dervis Eroglu, Professor John Netting, President of EBA, and Dr Suat Gunsel.
In addition the 4th International Education Sciences symposium was held at the Girne American University (GAU) from 19-21 March, 2015. Approximately two-hundred local and foreign scientists from 19 countries attended the symposium.
