Heavy Rain Forecast For Today
Heavy rain and thunderstorm are forecast for today, the Met Office has said. The public is advised to take care against possible flooding and poor driving conditions. It is anticipated that there will be between 2 – 5 cm of rain across the region until 5pm today.
Police Investigate Arson Case
Police are investigating a case of arson after a vehicle had been set on fire at around 1.am today in Nicosia. A Suzuki Alto, parked in Martyr Mustafa Street had been doused in a flammable liquid and set alight. The car was completely burnt out. The police are continuing to investigate. Yeni Duzen
